Sushiro Tsurumi

You can order tuna, seared yellowtail and medium-fatty tuna one piece at a time. If you can’t settle on just one, the “Tuna + Seared Yellowtail + Medium-Fatty Tuna” plate lets you compare all three. For more variety, the “Sushiro Set 12 Varieties” includes tuna, albacore tuna, prawn, squid and salmon, as well as simmered conger eel, egg sushi and gunkan sushi topped with minced tuna and spring onion. Each serving has 12 pieces, making it a handy choice when you want several kinds of sushi in one meal. There’s also a set of 8 varieties centred on familiar favourites, suitable for a family meal. It includes tuna, prawn, squid, salmon, simmered conger eel and egg sushi, and can be ordered for one to four people.

You can also add a few individual favourites alongside a set. One plate combines salmon, prawn and egg sushi, one piece of each; another pairs two pieces each of gunkan sushi topped with minced tuna and spring onion and gunkan sushi topped with tuna and pickled daikon. The menu also includes options beyond sushi, such as chawanmushi (savoury steamed egg custard), red miso soup and French fries. Finish with a sweet, such as candied sweet potato or mille crêpe cake, and tailor the meal to suit your appetite.

Visitors to the Tsurumi branch have commented on being surprised by the large-screen ordering system, and on how easy it was to collect their orders when they arrived on the conveyor belt in front of them. Orders are placed on a touch panel, and the restaurant also has a children’s menu and baby chairs, making it an option for family dining. You can eat in or order takeaway. Choose a set for the number of people dining together, or a hand-rolled sushi set if you’d like to make your own rolls at home.
